Are you overwhelmed by diet and supplement promotions and not sure what to do or whom to trust? Now, you can study holistic nutrition with Bauman College, the leader in whole food nutrition and culinary arts, in our 8-week Nutrition Essentials for Everyone™ course.

This course will begin in February 2012 in our Berkeley, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma County locations. You can review complete schedules further down this page.

Our 8-week course teaches the core concepts in whole food nutrition and culinary arts. Individuals seeking practical information and guidance will learn to make daily diet and lifestyle decisions that support improved health and personal growth.

Sessions are scheduled to begin in February, April, and the end of September.  See Schedules section below for upcoming dates.

Nutrition Essentials
cuts through food and diet ideology, and teaches both the art and science of nutrition in a way that anyone can understand and put into practice. Our goal is to awaken your critical intelligence and provide hands on experimentation in making and enjoying fresh, local, and seasonal food. We want you to experience feeling what it is like to be well nourished. Our certified Nutrition Instructors will offer support on how to manage food addictions, cravings, and lifelong poor eating and health habits. Learning as a group provides wonderful personal support. When someone shares a struggle, all offer encouragement. When someone shares a breakthrough, all are inspired. We hope to demonstrate that, in learning to Eat for Health, you will make measurable changes in your diet, lifestyle, and attitude that will leave a lasting, positive imprint on your health and longevity.

All participants in the program will receive The Nutrition Essentials for Everyone™ Workbook.
